Sarka (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is operated by Johannes Häyry (“the Developer”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. For the purposes of the GDPR, Johannes Häyry is the Data Controller.

• Account information: If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Form responses: The answers you submit to your personal questionnaires are stored locally on your device. If you choose to sync, they are uploaded to our servers.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymised crash reports and basic analytics to improve the app.
• Push notification tokens: Used solely to deliver your scheduled reminders to your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Sarka service.
• To send push notifications you have scheduled.
• To back up your data to the cloud when you sync.
• To diagnose and fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the contract (providing the app service) and your explicit consent when you create an account.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your questionnaire data is stored locally on your device first. Cloud sync is optional and only happens when you manually submit a form. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is stored securely on our backend infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently remove all associated data from our servers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@voidgroup.com or use the in-app deletion tools.

7. Children's Privacy

Sarka is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
